| I grew up in an overprotective household too. Parents should want you to succeed becuase it makes them look like they raised a well rounded person. Stick up for yourself; you are done with school and are an adult free to roam the world. Their lucky you havn't hooked up with some wierdo from the internet and just left them. I see you have morals, and that's great. Keep it up! Have a little more faith in yourself and show more independence and your parents might see that too. Don't give up, keep trying. If you get the cold sholder still, then I suggest confronting them right away. If they're defient, then you might need to reach out to relatives. Tell them EVERYTHING!! |
